USA Basa nite industries (hereinafter referred to as “basa nite”) recently announced that it has completed the certification of its new and proprietary Basa Max TM pultrusion manufacturing system. The Basa Max TM system covers the same area as the traditional pultrusion plant, but provides twice the manufacturing capacity and runs much faster than any available alternative. In addition, the equipment is uniquely optimized for products manufactured using basalt fibers.
Basa nite has successfully completed the initial trial production and product verification of the initial Basa Max TM prototype device shown in the figure above, and the system is now in line with the production conditions. Simon Kay, CEO of Basa nite, introduced his experience as CEO of aerospace technology group into Basa nite aerospace composite manufacturing quality control procedures and standards, which have been used in the design of Basa nite’s current production system and Basa Max TM system. Basa Max TM is both modular and scalable, and can flexibly expand and develop future manufacturing bases. The Basa Max TM system is fully integrated and operates wirelessly, ensuring that each tendon produced has the world-class quality and physical characteristics of Basa nite, while avoiding unnecessary waste.
With sufficient funds, Basa nite intends to install 10 Basa Max TM systems in the panotan plant. This will increase the two shift production capacity of the panotan plant to more than 70 million linear feet per year. Basa nite’s five traditional pultrusion machines will then be converted to dedicated Basa links TM manufacturing equipment, enabling the new Basa Max TM system to focus on Basa flex TM tendon production. Basa links TM represents only about 10% of the linear demand in a typical construction project, but usually represents 20 +% of the project sales value. This option optimizes the company’s ability to deliver larger orders to the construction industry.
With the increasing backlog of traditional building materials supply chain, Basa nite is leading the way with innovative, green and sustainable solutions, which also provide obvious advantages. Compared with reinforcement, Basa flex TM has 2.5 times the strength of reinforcement, about 1 / 4 of its weight, and is completely corrosion-resistant.
